instalacion de nuevo hardware
Tengo un laptop T-30 el cual utiliza una tarjeta para internet inalambrica, ZyXEL m-102, trato de instalarlo pero no lo reconoce el equipo, como puedo instalarlo?

la version que uses no importa, solo ejecuta instalar software restringido, del menu administracion, y listo te saldra una lista de lo que tienes y que debe instalar drivers
una manera de ver lo que tienes es
sudo lspci

trinium, la versión es muy importante.
Pues, haz "sudo rmmod ssb"
"sudo modprobe wl"
Espera más o menos 5 minutos, y la luz inalambrica iluminará, y puedes utilizar el internet inalambrico. :-)

Aplicaciones --> Accesorios --> Terminal (Lo siento, soy de los Estados Unidos, mi computadora es en inglés, y no hube sabido la equivalente del palabra "terminal." Pero el terminal es la interprete de comandos. :-)

cambiar el estatus a resuelto, solo hace que otras personas dispuestas a ayudar no presten mucha importancia a esta pregunta :S
