Hello, s.roth. :-)

I had a problem with my HP Pavilion dv6466us webcam, as well.

What I did to help it to function was download an application called cheese, "sudo apt-get install cheese". It will appear in Applications --> Graphics after install. Have you tried that yet?

There are tons of other possibilities to get it to work, but I agree with Zied ALAYA, because I do need just a bit more information. If Cheese does not work, please run "lsusb" in your favorite shell (terminal, konsole, etc.)

I hope that I've given you at least a bit of help, and I'm hopeful that I've solved your problem.

Best to you, and good luck.

Can you help with this problem?
