update manager in ubuntu, installed inside of Vista, should i run the update manager when it pops up?

Asked by chillwill

I installed Ubuntu 9.04 inside of Windows Vista, When i boot i have a choice to run either vista or ubuntu. When i run ubuntu, the update manager pops up and prompts me if i want to install the updates. The question is, should i install the updates while i run
ubuntu inside of vista? Running it on Compac C700 AMD 64 Athlon X2 @ 2.0gb. Thanks

Of course you should. I do it as often as possible (depending on the available updates).

I'm running Ubuntu on three machines, one of them dual-booting with Windows XP.

Can you help with this problem?
