3 d is not wprkig

There are quite some troubles with the intel driver in Ubuntu 9.04.
What intel graphic card do you have? Can you please paste the output of the command 'lspci' ?

Your graphics card (GM965) is blacklisted in compiz due to some problems - if you search the bugs for 'intel 965' you will find quite a lot of bugs for this problem at the moment.

You can try to skip the blacklist-check, as described here:

or remove the pid in /usr/bin/compiz.

This *may* work - for me it works, but many other peple still have problems, so try this at your own risk.

which was the reason for disabeling compiz on these cards.
