Save the body message of mail

Asked by martino

I receive automatically a text message every day from an accounting system the reports some fileds
about my m2m SIM traffic (byte tx rx, phone, date, time, errors, etc).
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 and Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0.0.21. I'd like to get the body of the mail message
saved in some text file in order to elaborate them as text file and not as mail messages.
There is some way to save the body of a mail messages in files automatically ?
Best Regards

As far as I know Thunderbird cannot automatically save e-mail messages, but there are other programmes that could do this for you; you might have a look at mailtextbody: http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/mailtextbody
