How to install Skype on Ubuntu 9.04?

How can we install Skype on Ubuntu 9.04? Using synaptic, we are unable to find?

Add the Medibuntu Repository. Look here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu

Note that it is a two part installation. 1) Add repository 2) Get GPG key

It will appear when you have reloaded Synaptic

Download the Linux Ubuntu version using this direct link :
http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-linux-ubuntu

then double click on the downloaded file and click Install Package. It may download some other packages. You'll find it later in Application->Internet->Skype
