GUI network manager problem

Asked by Massimo

Previusly I have introduced the following question: "In the GUI interface of network manager is not shown the section related to the wired configuration. Any hints for reintroduce/repristinate that?"
Which still remains for me an open question.
In order to get an help on this issue I will give the further informations:
The systems it is Unbuntu server 22.04.3 and it was preinstalled with a gnome desktop, within the setting option of the gnome interface for the settings of the network manager the "section" deditated to the wired configutation is not present.
The wired configuration was done by editing the appropriate file systems but will be better if the settings could be done by graphical interface. What I want try to do it is to adding such voice in the settings menu, up to now I wasn't able to achieve this task.
Any suggestions will be welcome.
For example where is any possibility to act on the configuration of the settings network manager for activate the wired section?
I guess that the problem raises by the standard preinstallation of the Unbuntu server which most probably as not defined this option as default and I guess that this could bypassed.
Thank you in advance for any help which could be given

Do you change your network settings frequently?

No, I do not plan to do it frequently. Nevertheless it would be desiderable to have available the GUI interface for the wired configuration.
Actually in the pre-installed gnome-desktop on the ubuntu 22.0 server the GUI for VPN and Proxy are present but not for the wired configuration.
In the mean time, following some tutorial, I have edit the 00-installer-config.yaml file and setting the network configuration and an error apart (see my other question) it works.

(maybe you are missing the package(s) that are necessary for configuring the network with the GUI)

For diagnostic purposes, what output do you receive for the command

dpkg -l | grep ' network-'

How did you add the graphical environment to the server?

This looks normal.

I am sorry, but I do not have any further idea.
