I have never heard about unicentaopos and do not know what it is, but it seems not to be within responsibility of Ubuntu.

Looking at your error message "Warning: Unable to connect to database: Database not available." I conclude that this program needs a certain kind of database server (mysql?) installed.
Do you have mysql installed and running?

I suggest that you try asking at a forum related to that software, perhaps https://unicenta.com/community/

Not within responsibility of Ubuntu.
I contact https://unicenta.com/community/help but after 3 days I had no response so decide to contact Launchpad to try find what is the error and how to corrected.
I highly appreciate If you can help diagonalize the fault and fix it.

I thought to be the java not been the same they suggested.
Checked with Synaptic and there is mysql-server and mysql- client 8.0.36.
On the Database setup there is this entry:
Driver Library /opt/unicentaopos-4.4.2/mysql-connector-java-5.1.39.jar.
If this helps
