The cd version 9.04 that ubuntu is delivering. Is it 64bits or 32bits?

Asked by Fernando Guerrero

I requested a CD of Ubuntu 9.04, but I couldn't find where to specify that I wanted a 64 bits version. A friend of mine has already gotten a copy of ubuntu 9.04 and kubuntu 9.04, but we couldn't know if they are 32 o 64 bits version, there is not infortamtion on the cd's cover.

Shipit only delivers 32-bit CDs. If you need a 64-bit CD, you can download the image yourself and burn it from http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download . If you're unable to do that, you could try contacting a Local Community team in your area (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoTeamList) to see if they're able to send you a disc.

It might be worth following the ShipIt link to "Special orders" or "reuest more cdss" or something and write your request in the email box on the form they give you.

Good luck and regards from
Tom :)
