For diagnostic purposes, what output do you receive for the following commands (to be executed in a terminal window)

uname -a
lsb_release -crid
whoami
groups
grep -i -e virt -e vbo /etc/groups

and please provide the exact text of the error message which indicates "I an not on of Vbox Users yet" and tell us the command that you execute to receive that message.

You mistyped the last command.

And you did not provide the answer to the question:
"and please provide the exact text of the error message which indicates "I an not on of Vbox Users yet" and tell us the command that you execute to receive that message."

Standard support for Ubuntu 18.04 has already ended last year.

Yes I know but 22.04 crashed big time . . Took 3 days to go into back door to get files off of it and RE Load 18.04 . . I finally got in and got jackie as a member of Virtual Box group and can see the USB and what ever else Again . . . . So You can cancel this question .. Sorry about not getting back sooner . . Moving and all kinds of stuff going on on this end of the world ! !
