Hi! Last update messed my main display. It opens only when tv is on and waiting signal from laptop. It shows log in and then turns black. Plese help!

Hi I'm technically challenged. I made the last update and log in appears. As soon as I log in the main display turns black. Only when I open the tv and make it receive on HDMI the laptop display opens. Somehow the tv and the main display are entangled.
Before the update everything worked fine.

I know I should have made a back up to the system but I postponed until to late.

I can write this lines to you only with the tv on HDMI.

Please help! The tv is a chinese ''VORTEX''
