Proton VPN and Kill switch never starts automatically

Asked by Sinbo

After every restart I have to manually start my Proton Vpn and my connection never gets blocked by the activated Kill Switch. Even after enabling the Kill switch, reconecting to VPN and rebooting my computer. Proton VPN never starts and my laptop connects to the Internet without connecting through the vpn.

I recently installed Ubuntu L.T.E on my Laptop and everything is up to date. I deleted and reinstalled the app already without any result.

Kind Regards

Please ask at the support pages of Proton VPN. That is foreign software outside the influence of Ubuntu.

If you install the Protonvpn cli package, you can make a systemd module to stop and start the connection. Protonvpn may have a guide for this

Can you help with this problem?
