How to install HTTPS on Ubuntu 22.04?

Asked by tearsforhari

I am using Ubuntu 22.04 and Apache2 2.4.52 to run some virtual websites. I use dyndns.org to point to the websites. Does anyone have a protocol on how to install SSL-certificates?

Yes, thank you. I came across that site. Do you know if their procedures are reliable, or if there is another protocol on the Ubuntu site to compare with?

I have successfully installed https or a security certificate for my hosted websites via the CA software following the directions on the digitalocean link above. However, now every time I try to log onto my Linksys mesh router via 192.168.1.1, I get redirected to one of my https websites. How to fix that?
