libc6 2.35-0ubuntu3.3 is only in jammy-proposed on Ubuntu 22.04.3

Asked by Jianshui Yu

Hi,
Currently libc6 libc6 :i386 2.35-0ubuntu3.3 only in jammy-proposed on Ubuntu 22.04.3, but jammy-proposed isn't the default apt source in the source list, I can add the jammy-proposed to workaround it now. When will it be moved to jammy-updates?

Thanks

New versions of packages usually are first put into ...-proposed, such that they can be tested by everyone who wants to do so.
If there are no problems detected during testing, then the updated version will be transferred to ...-updates. The time frame usually is few days.

Unfortunately it seems that during automated testing of the updated libc6 package some errors appeared, see https://ubuntu-archive-team.ubuntu.com/proposed-migration/jammy/update_excuses.html#glibc

I do not know what the next steps with that package will be.

Can you help with this problem?
