"Google Gears" could not be installed because it is not compatible with your Firefox build type (Linux_x86_64-gcc3). Please contact the author of this item about the problem.
I want to install the Google Gears to firefox, but upon downloading i got " incompatible extension" error giving the above mention report. Guide me how can install the extension to use off line services. I am using ubuntu 9.04.

Reinstalling Google Gears should fix the problem.
