Upgrading to Ununtu 22.10

I'm running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, but I decided to upgrade to Ubuntu 22.10, but I couldn´t. The following message apperared: "Livepatch security updates are not available for Ubuntu 22.10. If you update Livepatch will turn off". I'm in doubt: should I cancel or proceed?

Livepatch is available only for LTS releases (like Ubuntu 22.04, the next one will be 24.04).
If you want to have livepatch, then you have to stay on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
If you can accept that it will not be available for you any more, then you can upgrade to Ubuntu 22.10 (and furtheron to 23.04, published a week ago).

See also https://ubuntu.com/security/livepatch
"Canonical livepatch is meant for critical infrastructure, where unscheduled downtime is to be avoided."

It is your choice.

Remark: You have to be aware that support for Ubuntu 22.10 will end in July 2023, and if you decide to upgrade to 22.10, then you must upgrade to Ubuntu 23.04 by that time, and later must upgrade to Ubuntu 23.10, to stay on supported releases.
