re-Will this distro ever become official?

Hey all,
 I presently use Ubuntu Cinnamon Remix and financially support it. I was just curious if this distribution would ever become an official flavor of Ubuntu? If so, when and what is the hold up?

Linux Mint 21.1 with Cinnamon is based on Ubuntu already, you'll be supported by the Mint community
