how do I load all of the softwre programs on ubuntu 22.04

Asked by martin morganelli

I am a total beginner on this program. I upgraded from Ubuntu 18.04 to 22.04 due to Long Term Support expiring.
I guess you have to manually load all the software programs, games, etc. on this version. Could someone please give me simple,
cookbook type instructions on how to do this. i am obviously not very tech savvy. Thanks so much in advance.

After installing Ubuntu you should already have a considerable amount of pre-installed programs (e.g. firefox web browser, libreoffice for text editing and spreadsheet, ...)

If you want to add more programs, then use the Ubuntu-software application (click on the icon in the program bar at the left of the screen, that looks like an orange-colored shopping bag with the letter "A" on it).

What are you wanting to do? If you can give examples then we can advise. You need to manually load all software in any OS. This is how they work
