disk.c:258:no such partition. Entering rescue mode

Asked by Dorian Rosse

Dear support IT,

I happen error disk.c:258:no such partition. Entering rescue mode although the three devices of storage have the same size of part for the root (/) and the home unfortunately the part swap can't have the same size fornulately two space of storage at the startup of the setup are shown as able for the RAID however I need the third space of storage too able for the RAID because this device is more bigger thus it will wear windows 11 for the GMAO finally thanks you in advance to repair the problems,

Regards.

I suggest that you boot your system from an Ubuntu installer in the "Try Ubuntu without installing" mode and then perform a file system check on your disks.

I do not understand "It is from a backup". Do you want to boot from a backup disk? I doubt that this is possible.

Another idea that you can try:
Create a bootinfo (or bootrepair) disk and let it check your storage devices.
