How do I get the Video back to normal ?

Asked by Lynne Stevens

Did a search on web for GeForce drivers and got a sudo install files to install . . Now I am at roughly 1/2 of a screen . . Loaded synaptic and tried to un install them seems it has broken packages . . Have gone back to the VGA and same problem ( actually it amount of screen is to small for all items and it runs off the screen )

It is a Nvidia 710 an a video board in a dell Optiplex 7010 desk top . . Have had a run of bad Laptops so went to a desktop . . an the 18.04 Ubuntu as 20.04 crashed big time and video just did not re appear at all ! So went back to a version which worked !
took me about 1/2 a day to get screen back to normal and able to use it again . . ( was down to about 1/3 of a screen size )
