Pending updates Snap-Store pending

Please explain how to Update Snap-Store.

I have tried a number of ways but none have worked as I an told Snap is pending or something like that.

Thanks for any help, that would be appreciated.

Sorry Manfred I must apologise for my explanation.

I will try again:-

At the top of the screen there is Date & Time window in there is shown a "BELL" symbol, if you click on the Date/Clock you seen this message:-

"Pending Update Snap Store"

If I open "Ubuntu Software" It said:- at the top the screen 3 Boxes: - EXPLORE INSTALL UPDATES.

If I click on "UPDATES" I get Snap Store 41.3-60 48.2MB Update

If i then click on (the GREEN) Update All (word)

I get Unable to update "Snap Store":

(null): cannot refresh "snap-store": snap "snap-store" has running apps (ubuntu-software), pids: 2673

So how do I rectify this please.

The message tells that an update for the snap store is available, but at that moment the update cannot be installed, because you have the snap store program open. Close the ubuntu-software program and the snap store, and whenever the system tries again (which it does periodically), then will be able to do the update.

You can try to force the update with the command (to be executed in a terminal window)
sudo snap refresh
