Neovim team and neovim project

Asked by neovim-snap

The neovim team is not controlled by any members involved with the neovim project. Is there a method to take back ownership of a namespace that clearly doesn't belong to current moderator?

https://neovim.io/

There are contact methods here including irc channel. I'd start there

How would contacting the neovim.io help get control of a team on launchpad called neovim when neovim.io has no say or control over launchpad or the tam in question?

Then contact the users in the changelog for the package here on Launchpad.net

They may be able to help.

Collecting facts:

There is a project https://launchpad.net/neovim with creator, maintainer and driver Alexander Rudenko https://launchpad.net/~rudenko

There is a group '“neovim” team' https://launchpad.net/~neovim with administrator Alexander Rudenko being the only member and neovim-snap who has applied for membership.

The last action of Alexander Rudenko on launchpad that created karma was eight years ago (2014-09-16)

Possible steps forward:

I suggest that you create a question in answers.launchpad.net/launchpad ("Launchpad itself") about this problem or move this current question to that area.
The launchpad admins have the possibility to add new administrators to a group, if the current admins do not react on contact attempts and they can also change ownership of a project to a dedicated group, if the current project owner is no longer reachable. Please discuss with them.
