touch screen not working
I recently bought my first ever brand new laptop. Previously I had old, hand me downs that I loaded Ubuntu into. been using Ubuntu since 8.04.
My new HP Pavillion 15-eg has a touch screen. I'd like to get that feature working with Ubuntu 22.04. The eGalax touchscreen has supposedly been supported since 14.04, but I cannot find anything in the answers that applies to my machine.
I did find a tarball, but I'm not good at compiling from .tar, don't know if it is even the right one, and also the threads do not recommend going that route.
I have a feeling the package is here, I just need to figure out how to make it work?
