In the BIOS/UEFI settings, change the disk mode from RAID to to AHCI, and the installer should run.

Hi, thank you for your response! I tried what you suggested I do but that still has not fixed my issue, do you have any other suggestions?

Is this for a dual boot system or is Ubuntu to be the only OS here? If it is a single boot with Ubuntu then I suggest setting the BIOS to failsafe defaults and setting the boot to BIOS mode rather than UEFI.

On your rack server, in the BIOS turn off RST then install the OS.

Turning RST off completely in BIOS.
Changing the storage controller protocol from RST to Advanced Host Controller Interface (AHCI).

Hi, actionparsnip. I tried what you said to do but the drives still do not showup in ubuntu's os install. Also this is a single os, ubuntu will be the only os installed.

Also in response to Bernard, I did not see an option for "RST" but I did change my protocol to AHCI but the drives still do not show up.

(My drives only show up in my Bios settings)
