enabling auto authentication

Hey so I installed Ubuntu a few days ago and now when I tried downloading some apps it keeps asking me for my password each time,
what do I do so it won't ask me for it?

That is the security feature of Ubuntu.
Apps are unable to just install themself without password authentication.
This is the default action for security.

but can't I change it?
