Asked by sameer

Open a terminal [ctl+alt+t] type: dmesg
Paste the output here for diagnostics.

Hey Bernard Stafford
when i run dmesg --level=err no output is shown means it shows nothing

With the link you provided I am not having problem with disk password rather it can read the password correctly but after typing the password and click enter it just stays at lenovo screen and doesn't proceed further.

I see soemthing in syslog not sure if its related
gnome-session[1746]: gnome-session-binary[1746]: WARNING: Falling back to non-systemd startup procedure due to error: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Process org.freedesktop.systemd1 exited with status 1
