If memory serves it can be done. You may want to use screen so that if the SSH service restarts then you should be OK.

You could always create a VM, SSH to it and test. Once you are OK then go to prime time

Cool, are there any specific steps you can provide to help the process easier.
is it possible to test in same laptop by installing a virtual box and creating a vm in it or it has to be on different ?

Ensure that your backups are good (if needed)

Virtualbox will do you. Just connect to it using SSH and have fun

Can you help with this problem?
