I suggest you test the RAM using Memtest from GRUB as a good first test

Great. If you install openssh-server on the system, can you connect to the system via SSH from another system or even your phone (ConnectBot is an SSH client for Android)

Are all your questions https://answers.launchpad.net/~mfaheem5697 related to the same device?

Which make and model is it, how much memory does it have?

What is the output of the following diagnostic commands

uname -a
lsb_release -crid
sudo dmidecode -t 1
free -m

There is a BIOS update for April this year
https://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/downloads/ds546302-bios-update-utility-bootable-cd-for-windows-10-64-bit-linux-thinkpad-p15-gen-1-p17-gen-1-t15g-gen-1-t15p-gen-1-p15v-gen-1

You can update using the ISO and boot to that (Can probably transfer to USB if needed, using Etcher / Rufus etc)

There is a newer one. It may help. Nicely they have a bootable ISO you can use.

Can you help with this problem?
