how to install supertux game

we download the supertux game but we not able to install the game so please provide the procedure for offline installation for the "supertux" game.

If you like FPS i suggest Urban Terror and for something more scary Penumbra (pay to play but the demo is free)

to install supertux offline do the following procedure:
- open the terminal;
- browse to the folder were you saved your file;
- execute: bash supertux-0.1.3.x86.package (this might change according to your supertux version)

Install a .package file requires the autopackage software and supertux installation downloads and install it. But for this you shouldn't be offline. If you already have autopackage then you won't face anyn problems.

If you're able to install it via synaptic (online) its the best since the package is available in repositories. Link to Installation info:

apt-get install supertux-stable
