Asked by David R. Mundy

Things were working just great I went to bed and when I woke up nothing worked. I rebooted to GNU GRUB version 2.04. I have run everything I can find to do but Ubuntu will not boot. I ran a diagnostic and got NVMe Extended Self Test Failed 23 S.

Sounds like a bad internal disk. If you boot to Ubuntu live CD/USB can you fsck the storage. May need to be replaced then restore your user data from backups (If your data is important, of course)

Can you help with this problem?
