ubuntu desktop slow while working on virtual studio code

Hi , our team member developing on the ubuntu desktop for past 7 months and they feeling slow and sometime it freeze , need to restart the PC. we need support regarding this issue. and i tried some method to speed up performance

Is it on a single system (hardware) or is this affecting multiple users on lots of different hardware?

its affecting the multiple system which has similar hardware one or two pc hardware are different.

CPU: Intel Core i5 10 th & 9 th gen
RAM: 8 GB
HDD: 240 GB SSD / 500 GB HDD
Motherboard: Asus Chipset 510
