Howdy Manfred, that is if you will get this message. Can you let me know if this gets to you and if I can send 3 screen shots about Ubuntu LivePatch fail and Ubuntu update fail ? because I don't seem to do it via site we have been communicating on.

If you do it via command line, then you should be able to copy/paste the text into the question document.
If you need to show images (like screenshots), then you have to upload them to some public image hosting service and put a link to the image page into the question document.

Note: You better redact your token in the output. That is far easier done in text mode than on an image.

Hi Manfred, sorry but these screen shots are what I need to show you and here is the only and easiest way I know how. In screen shot # 3 file is what I mean about LivePatch fail, that's what happens after I switch on LivePatch.
I have an internet connection but in sc # 1 is what happens after I run an update via the Software Updater, then after clicking OK for that message, sc # 3 message appears but if I click continue, the next message says that there is no updates. I'm not sure if I should go ahead with the Parallel Upgrade or not,
I'll be happy to now carry on with these issues back on https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/
Those SC's I couldn't make work there.

Your latest message is useless. Screenshots cannot be added to Launchpad question documents.

yea I know my SC's won't work on launchpad, that's why I tried doing it via this email. Are you saying that it won't work this way either ?

This mail also ends up only on Launchpad and attachments are discarded.
Look into your own e-mail inbox and on your question document https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/701844

Repeating my request:
What text output do you receive for the commands as shown in https://www.techrepublic.com/videos/how-to-enable-canonical-livepatch-from-the-command-line/ (redact you token)
