When you enter BIOS setup at boot time and then go through the menus, do you see a list of hard disks?

On switching the computer goes direct to the Bios .

In STORAGE INFORMATION it shows AHCI: SATA6G_1 (shaded) WDC5000AZRX-00L4HB0 (500.1 GB) recognizes the HDD name this hard drive has Ubuntu 20.04 installed.

Looking around the Bios found in BOOT PRIORITY ”Choose one and drag the items.” NO HDD It should have the Drive name.

In BOOT MENU = “The system cannot find any bootable devices”

In ADVANCEMODE →CSM is ON. In SECURE BOOT – OS TYPE = Other OS

In MY FAVORITES → PCH STORAGE CONFIGURATION → SATA CONTROLERS = Enabled

SATA6G_1(Gray) (shaded) = the connected HDD name (shaded).

Hope this will help.

Just to ensure that I correctly understand the situation.
You had a working Ubuntu system, exchanged the motherboard, connected the hard disk to the new motherboard, but now the system does not boot any more with a "no bootable device found" message.

I assume the key hint is

Looking around the Bios found in BOOT PRIORITY ”Choose one and drag the items.” NO HDD It should have the Drive name.

You have to enable booting from the hard disk.
Which items do you see in the list for selecting "Boot priority"?

First paragraph correct.

In STORAGE INFORMATION shows the HDD but In BOOT PRIORITY There is no HDD mention.

Just experiment with USB drive.
Boot with USB and HDD connect it booted the computer with Kubuntu which is USB OS.

Restart again and enter the Bios in STORAGE INFORMATION with AHCI: the connect HDD and USB: the connect drive. The two drives are showing.

In BOOT PRIORITY there is an entry now UEFI: it shows only the USB drive.

It can boot from USB drive but not from the HDD there must be especial setting to set up.

There is no items at all.

Only time "Boot priority" shows any items is when USB drive is connected.

This is not an Ubuntu problem, but related to hardware and BIOS. You probably better try finding a support site of the motherboard and/or BIOS manufacturer.

Are you sure that you have the newest BIOS version?
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/PRIME/PRIME-H410M-K/HelpDesk_BIOS/ shows "version 1620" (not sure whether this is your device).

Eventually the following helps:
I suggest that you boot into BIOS setup and reset the BIOS to the defaults and then try again enabling the hard disk for booting.
