Gitkraken crashing on Ubuntu 22.04 after upgrade

While trying to load the latest deb version of GitKraken ( 8.4.0 from https://release.gitkraken.com/linux/gitkraken-amd64.deb ), only the splash screen loads for few seconds and then exits.
This same version worked great before upgrade to 22.04 from 21.10

Do you get an error message when you start
/usr/bin/gitkraken
in a terminal window?

No, running from terminal outputs no error and has same result
Terminal command exits

Edit:
To note that snap version works fine, just the deb version fails

This .deb file comes from an external source. You probably better ask there and not in the Ubuntu question area.
