gconf-editor changing physcial state of ports

Asked by Jose Meza

My charger has been destroyed, right now I can't buy a new one but my computer has a USB-C port although, it seems this Lenovo has it disabled for charging as I've already tried and researched it. I was wondering how to use the gconf-editor to change the physical pulses in the computer in order to see if that's the problem. Any extra resources would be appreciated also.

If Lenovo has disabled the hardware for charging then how will any setting in any OS make this work?

Because I refuse to believe there isn’t a way to bypass even if I had to go to the physical layer I wasn’t stating anything about the OS I was asking how to use gconf-editor if it was possible and if not I still want information on how to bypass on the physical layer just to know.

If things aren't physically connected inside the system then you can't bypass it with software....

Can you help with this problem?
