doesn't contain any valid PGP data

i am not being able to read pgp code messages

i tried with firepgp in firefox with gmail, when i select the text and make a verification on firegpg

it says, doesn't contain any valid PGP data

i tried then in evolution, enabling the pgp security with the correct password

it says,
Could not parse PGP message
gpg: armor header: Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux)
gpg: public key is A343E4E2
gpg: encrypted with ELG-E key, ID A343E4E2
gpg: decryption failed: secret key not available
.....................
any help?

try:

gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv A343E4E2; gpg --export --armor A343E4E2 | sudo apt-key add -
