Unable to change gamma on Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 3000 (SNB GT2).

I am using Ubuntu 22.04 and unable to change gamma via xgamma and xrandr.
My graphics is Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 3000 (SNB GT2).
Laptop: Dell Inspiron 3520.

I have upgraded from 20.04 to 22.04. for 20.04 It was fine.

This may be a consequence of the XOrg -> Wayland transition.
