Upgrade Qt to 5.15.3

Asked by Daniel Beaupre

QT recently released 5.15.3 a few days ago, which includes a decent amount of fixes/improvements. I'm currently tracking an app that requires one of these fixes. What's the best course of action for requesting an upgrade or a PPA?

Specifically I'm looking at Impish (21.10)

Ubuntu jammy (due for publication in two weeks' time) will have qt version 5.15.3+dfsg-1

For PPA;
Please check https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+ppas?name_filter=qtbase-opensource-src
Maybe there is already an updated version available. that you can use.
And of course you can create your own PPA that contains whatever you need.

Unfortunately, creating PPA's is a bit over my head ATM. I've reached out to Stephan Binner who's been managing a decent amount of qt5 ports for various machines.

Appreciate the responses Manfred =)

You can wait for official publication (in two weeks) or even upgrade now.
