Graphical shell completely frozen when closing app from window preview

Asked by Alexandru Buhnici

Don't know if it's a system bug yet so I ask here first. I have this scenario that maybe somebody else can test.

In Ubuntu 22.04 I have a browser running some Youtube video, GIMP and Inkscape (multiple windows) open. When I move the cursor over the Inkscape icon I can see the preview of the open windows, each one with a close button. When I click on the close button everything freezes, I can't even move the mouse and then I have to force a shutdown.

This does not happen all the time but after a few tries. I have an Asus ZenBook but didn't have this issue with other versions of Ubuntu.

Does anybody else have this issue?

Ubuntu 22.04 Jammy Jellyfish LTS is still under development and has not been released.
It is still being tested until the final release date.
The release date will not be until 2022-04-21
I will refer you to the latest current released Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Yes, I know it's in development. I wanted to know if this can be submitted as a bug to be checked. Or can you not report bugs until it's released?

Yes make a bug report.
Please use Apport to generate additional information to be included on your bug report.
Otherwise bug report will be considered incomplete.
Open terminal (ctl+alt+t) type : ubuntu-bug package name
To help separate the report, title: Ubuntu 22.04
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Apport
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs

Can you help with this problem?
