Ubuntu as VPS - it must report back to ip-/http:

Asked by Stefan Greimers

Ubuntu Server 21. 10 should send the incoming reply back together with the network traffic to the http address of my FRITZ!Box, otherwise I can’t do anything with the server Ubuntu 21. 10. This can also be an IP address.

The configuration for this has to be permanent, I don’t want to reactivate it every day.

If the IP addresses change at home, the FRITZ!Box has a Dynamic DNS service (DDNS).

Dear Mr. Stafford, Thank you for the information. It is possible to share messages across the linguistically understandable German level. Until yet I had a German contact, ending with the recommendation to buy a book of Ubuntu. This is the wrong approach.

It’s like that, as described in the YouToube video, I already did it in Germany with the company Contabo. Successful.

I wonder how Ubuntu can integrate for Internet network traffic. You can configure it to work for you, but this is about setting up the outgoing network traffic entirely and exclusively via VPS-Ubuntu without ever losing the connection. What used to be with indeterminate IP addresses in the background should now end. If Ubuntu does not work reliably, the Internet connection is lost for me.

You can configure it, problem remains in Germany with modem router AVM + Telecom Germany the control over IP addresses, which for others always lead to the “undefined IP addresses. ” Moudemrouter can have 100 several connections in Germany, which disrupt the system.

In my case, WireGuard plays a very big role in a positive sense. Client and server address Ubuntu, but is it all for network traffic?

Can you help with this problem?
