Unable to detect cache hierarchy for CPU0

Asked by J

I'm getting a slight boot lag and an error comes up indicating "Unable to detect cache hierarchy for CPU0"

The system-
Raspberry Pi 4B 4Gig - Latest Firmware
Ubuntu 20.04 Server with Xfce - Updated

Raspberry Pi OS is having the same issue - for reference:
https://github.com/raspberrypi/Raspberry-Pi-OS-64bit/issues/195

This may be related to missing cache directory in /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0
(per the reference)

I'm requesting assistance to have the cache be detected.

Please let me know what additional info to provide (or if this request belongs elsewhere) - Thank you

I've seen this around the Web. I suggest you report a bug. Is there a performance issue?

Beyond a slight lag at boot (~3s), the system seems OK with speed and stability. It's overclocked and runs nice at 1080p - slightly sticky at 4k.

This will be an OctoPrint system, so it would be nice to not have anything sticking out as an issue/possible issue before running 3d prints with it.

I'll submit a bug report, thanks for the direction.

Can you help with this problem?
