Apps unable to access file system for natilus, causing apps to freeze.

Asked by Matt Nordsell

I was first experiencing this issue with 21.04, I'm running the Budgie version of Ubuntu, now I updated to 21.10 & still having the same issue. For some reason, Natilus is not allowing apps to access any files in my file system and it is causing the apps to freeze up to where I have to go into the system monitor to force the app to end. Is this something to do with the Budgie version of Ubuntu? I haven't tried the normal Ubuntu for either release to see if the issue persists. It makes doing tasks rather difficult when I can't open files up in programs from the program, such as for video editing or creating attachments for e-mails and so on.
