Something has gone seriously wrong: import_mok_state failed: not ready

Asked by Geraldine Lines

Try Ubuntu works otherwise the PC no longer boots since Ubuntu installation
I get three lines saying moklist RT, moklist XRT, sbatleve lRT: not ready then that something has gone seriously wrong as in the title.
I have tried to go to BIOS and add boot option but there is not one available. I only have the options of Ubuntu, live USB in that order. Live USB lets me Try Ubuntu and installation goes ok until I restart and take the USB out. I have tried to disable secure boot and repeated the installation. To no avail. I have an Acer desktop. Thank you for your help.

Could be a corrupt download in the installation files.
I would download again.
https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop
Flash the Ubuntu to USB.
https://www.etcher.net/download/
Etcher checks the checksum after flashing the USB
and works with any operating system.
