Brother MFC-J6920DW Printer Will not install

I have tried and tried and I still not get the printer to work I will have to go back to Windows 8.1
and sent I have used Linux I really love Linux but I have to have my printer.

What release of Ubuntu?
How does the printer connect to the system?
You also said you tried and tried but never said what you actually tried....
