Asked by Guillermo Castello

He cambiado satisfactoriamente la resolucion de pantalla, pero para que se mantenga ese cambio, debo "recordarselo" al grub cada vez que ingreso a mi notebook.

Change screen resolution kubuntu 16.04 32 bits

I have successfully changed the screen resolution, but to keep that change, I have to "remind" grub every time I log into my notebook.

The end of support for Kubuntu 16.04 was April 2021.
An upgrade to the next LTS should be available through regular updates.

First of all, I would like to say that I really appreciate your kind answers.
Unfortunately, I think that Kubuntu 18.04 is not available for 32 bit systems. Anyway, I will try to follow your suggestion.

This is to tell you that I upgraded to Kubuntu 18.04. I apologize for saying it was not available for 32 bit systems.
However, by doing so, my old 32 bit notebook started to work more slowly, and, worst of all, I cannot get 1024x768 display resolution by the means I got previously.
I would really appreciate your help.
