root directory problem

I have a 2TB HD which is partitioned, one partition is 1.1TB /dev/sdb2 which is has permission for root only, there is lost+found folder and Ubuntu ISO (20.04LTS.) Backup folder.

media richard d2eff4cd-78e6-d201-50eb-f4cd78e6d201 lost+found Ubuntu ISO Backup.

Question:- Can I changed from root permissions so that I do not have to authenticate each time?

What do you want to do on that partition?

I suggest that you create a mount point for that additional partition and set appropriate mount options in the /etc/fstab file. This should allow you to set whatever you want, including granting ownership to you.
