Running browser instance (snap) not recognised (Impish)

On impish beta links hyperlinks no longer open in an existing instance of Firefox (snap) but keep opening a separate, user-agnostic Firefox session. In other words this additional firefox session does not contain any user configuration/personalisation.

So it turns out there are two versions of firefox on the system which is creating confusion. I am guessing one version is Snap, the other deb?

I suggest you report a bug. Impish is not ready and not stable.
