Booting Problem on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Asked by Luis M.Jacinto

Booting stops with marron screen my name on the centre and "not listed" underneath.
Have to click on the name then small window opens to insert password (this is non password
booting OS), after long time it opens with no launcher on the left side with different color Top Bar
I have to click on "Activities" -> Tweak -> and Switch on "Extension" to come right
How to correct this?.
Thank you

What happened to the system before this all happened? An update? Did you make a configuration change?

https://help.ubuntu.com/lts/ubuntu-help/user-autologin.html.en
When you installed you selected Automatic Login.
Sometimes this reverts to default (Login Screen and Password)
after an update. This a common occurrence.
