How can I delete my questions?

Asked by Life Fan

This site - without any add blockers etc., shows no way to edit my questions, so the only way I have found to "edit them" is to go back one step, edit the question and then post the UPDATED question, which then posts as an additional question, rather than an edited version of the older question.

This system needs to be fixed.

So how do I delete the earlier multiple versions of the questions?

Any help would be appreciated?

I suggest you report a bug. The alternative is to mark the question as solved and just move on.

You cannot delete a question, but you can edit the questions that you have created.

In the "Question header" block there are yellow pencil icons, e.g. besides the language indicator. If you click on it, you can change title and text of the question.

The same can be achieved by adding /+edit to the url, in case of this question it is
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/698438/+edit

This is a really fucked site - Oh no - you screwed up your own question AND
you can't change / delete it?

Give me a fucking break.

Reorder the site to make it more useable, rather than so knobbish.

Warning: Moderate your language or you might get banned because of misbehavior.
see e.g. https://ubuntu.com/community/code-of-conduct

Repeating my answer:
You cannot delete your question, but you can modify it.

Visit your question document on launchpad, e.g. https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/698438 and in the top right corner you see a yellow pencil icon "edit question" (and similar icons in several additional spots).
You can change title and contents of the questions that you have created.

The comments that you have added can be changed separately, with a click on the yellow pencil icon in the heading of the comment - if you are logged in with the same lauchpad user ID that was used for creating the question respectively the comment.
