First time user needs help with fonts

I installed xtra-pc on an acer and it was easy and friendly, came with firefox and I was able to transfer my bookmakrs but I cannot find a way to increase the size of the fonts - it's very difficult to see the default font is there something like SETTINGS for the entire pc, all apps, where I can increase the size of the font? This is support for Ubuntu only, and not for other operating systems, even if they may have copied some parts of Ubuntu.
